we moved to google apps for mail recently, so i gonna share some thoughts about how to do it with godaddy account.
1st of all, you need to change your MX records for each of your domains.
it is done via plesk quite easily. navigate to domains section, click on domain, then dns, delete existing MX records, then add google's ones.
they must specify yourdomain.com in the "Host" field (not mail.yourdomain.com, etc).
than save that, and click "i did it" on google apps page.
they'll check it, and activate your mail (or tell you that you did something wrong).
now, you should have working email, and you want to have some webapp(s) that send mail from your server to foo@yourdomain.com and bar@yourdomain.com.
you'll never see such messages in google inbox, but they will show up in your domain's webmail.
what's wrong? you have mail agent running on your host, and it catches all "local" mail without sending it to outer world.
i had some hard days figuring out why it "doesn't work".
solution is simple as always. open plesk, navigate to domains, click on domain, click "mail", click "disable". DONE.
enjoy!
