it's a trend these days, so here's mine:
* make it possible to draw any part of any standard widget, in any of its possible state, into GdkDrawable without having actual widget of that type (for implementing custom widgets), without having to render the widget into offscreen buffer, reading results back, etc. that means: GtkTreeView header widget, individual tabs from GtkNotebook, etc
* docking -- something like libgdl, but more flexible. with controllable look. usable from glade. with serialization of current setup in text form. preferably without xml.
* bring back code generation to glade! i cannot switch to glade3 because of lack of this feature. it's the most important feature of glade2. so i have to patch it over and over to work with latest gtk.
